Sickness, Utah and Footloose!

So, I was supposed to go to Utah on July 8th for a quick trip to see some family and go to see my handsome little brother, Brady, star as a lead in Footloose....BUT...two days before that I came down with an awful case of something...probably the flu! I was in bed sick from Sunday night until Thursday and it was HORRIBLE! As you can see when Tuesday rolled around I was still in bed and had to cancel my flight! I was so bummed because I never get sick and it happened at the worst time. Anyway, I ended up going for my little trip on Friday. I still wasn't feeling too good the first few days, but came home feeling much better. Unfortunately Ty was left here at home and he got sick while I was gone...poor guy! We had a good time with our family and Britain just loved the attention he got! Brady did an AMAZING job as the Footloose star and I'm so happy I got to go see him perform 3 times! Although some things fell through, we had a great time! We will be back out in Utah in three weeks for my brother-in-law's wedding so hopefully we'll see some of you that we didn't get to see before!

Here's Uncle Ben and Britain! Britain loves his Uncle Ben and they played with the hose forever...he may not like the pool, but he LOVES getting wet!

Aunt Tawni is so gorgeous and she'll be getting her braces off very soon! Watch out boys, she'll be a sophomore in high school and looking that cute she'll definitely be stealing some hearts!

Luckily while I was in Utah, some of my friends were also visiting Utah so I was able to run over to a little get together they had! Times sure have changed and there wasn't much time for talking with kids running all over! There are many kids missing in this picture because they were on the playground!

So I decided I wanted a change and got my bangs cut while in Utah. I like them a lot actually because I can still pull them back. This isn't the best picture of them, but that was my brave moment for the year!

My cute dad let us come have lunch with him at work. I haven't done that in such a long time and it was a blast because we went to the Mayan. Britain loved watching the divers!
