We've been very busy here lately and I just wanted to post a few pics to show what we've been doing!
Ty's little sister, Ali, came to visit us and we had a great time shopping! Ty's brother, Greg, gets married this Friday so we picked up some wedding accessories for ourselves! Here we are at The Legends Mall in Kansas City, Missouri...there are lots of fountains and of course if there is water then Britain will be there!
Right after Ali left, Ty's dad came to stay with us for a few days on his way back from a business conference. He and Ty have started to work on our basement and MAN! They worked so hard and not to mention that they were working on the hottest days of the year...we had heat indexes of up to 112 degrees! My poor Ty got a bloody nose right in the middle of working! We really appreciate his dad for helping us and hope to finish the basement someday soon!
Sidenote: While Ty and his dad were working, Britain and I found 3 frogs in our window well! I was so glad to find them alive because I usually only find fried froggies down there. They jump in, can't get out and bake in the horrible heat. I made Tyler rescue them because I was a little afraid, but here's the biggest one...it's kind of cute don't ya think?
Cool dude...need I say more?

Your frogs in the window well remind me of the salamanders we used to get in my parents' window wells. Maybe Tyler remembers catching them? We would get them out, pick one for each of us, and then have races and see which one would run faster. We didn't ever have the problem with them frying though (that sounds pretty gross!). Mom would make us throw them over the fence and into the canal - but they always made their way back!
I love the glasses on Britain they are so cool!!! He is so cute!!!
What a doll!
I can't believe how big Britain is growing, and how fast time flies.
The summer is already over and I'm headed back to work, and can't imagine leaving my little man in somebody else's hands. Definitely the most REWARDING job I've ever had!
Looking forward to seeing you next week!
Kristin
