21 Week Ultrasound!

We are happy to report that we are having a very healthy and happy baby! Ty and I took Britain with us and he didn't care at all about the ultrasound, but sat very content in the corner eating his swedish fish. We got to see the sweet little face, hands and feet...pretty much everything BUT the determining body parts! That's right, we aren't finding out with this one. Tyler absolutely wanted to be surprised and I wasn't sure if I could do that or not. Well, when we went in, I asked the lady if she would write down what it is in case I wanted to look later and find out. She said that for her own "reasons" that she wouldn't do that and she wouldn't even tell me if I had Tyler leave the room. She kind of acted like if Tyler didn't want to know then he shouldn't have come. Just because Ty didn't want to know the gender doesn't mean he can't see the baby....I was a little bugged, but it helped me make up my mind to just be surprised with Tyler on this one because I honestly will be thrilled with either at this point. It's funny how many people are saying they hope I have a girl because I say, "What if it's a darling little boy and I can dress them up all matchy matchy and they can play on the same soccer team?" So obviously I don't care and it will be fun to give Ty the surprise he wants...this time around anyway:) I definitely think that we know the most important thing...we will have a sweet and HEALTHY baby...what a blessing, we are so excited!

I loved being surprised with Skye! The hardest part about not knowing the sex was the naming part, but then again it was hard when we knew the sex too.

I am so excited for you and I think it is a boy-I saw a family of 4 boys at the gym and all 4 of them matched down to the socks and shoes-CUTE-and something they will hate you for one day ;)

Surprises are the BEST!!! We didn't know the sex of my last baby until he was born and I LOVED it! However, it wasn't as fun when I had to change the Pink nursery I set up, after the baby was already here... seeing that I guessed totally wrong! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. I hope everything goes well and that you guys enjoy having a surprise!

You are a wonderful wife to allow the sex to remain a secret, he's lucky to have you!

Can't wait to see the newest addition to your family!

I think waiting until the birth to find out the sex of the baby is great! It really is such a wonderful surprise :) I think a girl or boy would be so cute with big Brother Britain!

I go to my ultrasound in a couple weeks and I just don't know how you guys do the surprise! I guess I'm a little crazy in the fact that if we were to have a boy I would need the remaining months to completely deck out a BOY room. But maybe once I have one of each sex, I would be fun like you and get suprised! Congratulations!

I would have been so bugged by the doctor too! I love surprises, so I think it is awesome you aren't finding out!

PS Yes, my hair was redish in that wedding picture. That's the only reason I posted that picture...it's the only one I have. It has gotten lots lighter since and isn't quite the shock.
