So I'm finally posting about our AMAZING Thanksgiving! We were so lucky to have all of my family come out...minus my little brother Tommy who is playing bball for SLCC and had to stay home to play...we missed you Tommy! My mom and dad drove out with the kids and my brother Brandon and sis in law Michelle drove down from Iowa. Man, it's hard living away from family because they are all my best friends....here's A LOT of pics!
Our favorite missionary, Elder Ale, showed up with his companion on our doorstep the night my family got here! It was such a pleasant surprise. He served in our ward for about 9 months starting in January '08 and we have a lot of good memories with him. He is an incredible missionary and is now serving as A.P. and will be going home to Hawaii later this month! We loved updating each other and were treated to a beautiful song by him and his companion. What a great way to start the holidays!
So, my mom said she was going to give Braden a bath. When I went upstairs to see what was going on, this is what I saw...man, Braden is sure spoiled by his grandma and aunties! Love the pants Tawni:)
Watching some T.V....I thought this pic was so cute!
A "friendly" game of Family Feud....boys against girls:) We played several fun games thanks to my very creative sis in law Michelle who always has great games and ways to make us laugh! Thank you!
Grandpa and Braden...LOVE this picture...priceless!
Grandma watching babies while the rest played volleyball...my mom always said she wanted twins...here you go Mom!
My handsome and athletic hubby going up for a dunk...right Ty?
We played volleyball at our church for HOURS on Thanksgiving! I love having an athletic family...we had some incredible rallies...we had some intense games! Afterwards we all went to Golden Corral for our non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner! That way we could enjoy each other and not worry about cooking and cleaning in my tiny kitchen! What a great day!
My little butterball showing how thankful he is for his mommy! (Note: zoom in on his shirt!)
My parents stayed in a hotel since our house was stuffed full with siblings and my cute little niece! We all headed over after Thanksgiving dinner for a fun dip in the pool!
Besides loving sports, my family loves broadway musicals! My AMAZING parents sent all of us older kids to see "Wicked" in Kansas City! We had an absolute blast and I'm so THANKFUL we could all enjoy each other and have a great night on the town away from my precious babies!
Us girls just a little too excited to see the show!
The boys...maybe even a little MORE excited than the girls:)
Me and my handsome hunk!
The kiddos at home with Grandpa and Grandma...cutest little kiddos!
Britain's dreams coming true...1. Riding on a Merry go round.....2. Riding it with Uncle Ben(his favorite person in the whole world!) Thanks Uncle Ben for playing with Britain and taking such good care of him...he absolutely loves and misses you!
The family right before they left for home...(minus Michelle who took the pic and Tyler who was getting the baby!) I'm going to end up being the shortest sibling. My sis Tawni has officially passed me up and Brittany will very soon. I know my little bro Ben will definitely pass me up...I mean look at the rest of my brothers...I don't stand a chance...the oldest and the shortest is what I will have to be! Thanks so much for coming everyone, we had a BLAST and hope you will come back soon! Love You!

Oh my goodness - I LOVE this! What a fun Thanksgiving. I cannot believe how old your family is getting. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?! Tawni is a miniature (and yet taller) Brooke. You guys could be twins!
Brooke, you have the cutest family! I loved seeing pictures of all of them. That is SO great they could come out for Thanksgiving. Holidays are 100% better with family:) Did you enjoy Wicked? I've heard it's SO good. I can't remember if I told you I SWEAR I saw you at my parents stake conference (it was several months ago). I was so excited you were there too! I was walking up to talk to you and when I got about a foot away from "you", I realized it was Tawni! You guys seriously look SO much like each other, I could hardly tell you apart.
Brooke, DARLING pictures!!! That really was the BEST Thanksgiving. Let's do it again next year! How does that sound, Brent and Ginger? Thanks for hosting! It couldn't have been better. See you in a couple weeks.
Michelle :-)
It looks like you and your family had such a great time, and I am so glad they take such amazing care of you, Tyler, and the boys! You DESERVE it, and I'm sure it was a nice break from some of the stress you've had lately.
I can't believe how big Braden's getting, time just flies by! Looks like he's loving his little cousin! It's great that your brother and sister-in-law are close by and were able to join in the family fun as well!
Miss you!
It looks like you guys had a great time! What great memories!!
I guess we are meant to be friends...the oldest and the shortest sibling!!! It's crazy that you could possibly be the shortest...you being so much taller than me!!! Looks like you guys had a great time with your family...I'm actually feeling a little jealous right now that I missed out on all the fun.
Brooke! Your Thanksgiving looks like so much fun! I ran into your mom the other day at the store and it was great to talk to her. It made me miss you:) Are you sad you aren't coming for the holidays? We will miss you!
