Hoppy Easter!

We had a very nice Easter at our house this year! We made sure to put up some Easter decorations on our windows and dye Easter eggs in preparation for the holiday. Ty and I really wanted to focus though on the real meaning so for a couple weeks before we talked about Easter and the Resurrection for Family Night. We had an empty egg to represent the empty tomb. Britain seemed to really grasp it and hopefully learned something! But the morning of Easter was still all about finding eggs and Easter baskets for these two boys! Braden found his third egg and discovered it had candy so he just sat and ate candy while Brit found the rest...Brit was in heaven! We then had Stake Conference and came home and had a wonderful dinner with friends!
We made sure to make our annual Easter bunny cake with rainbow chip cake and rainbow chip frosting to share...mmm...our favorite!
This is a very excited boy to dye eggs!

Trying to make silly faces like the eggs!

We love Easter and what it truly represents, we know our Savior Jesus Christ lives.
