Merry Christmas!!!!

We had a very nice Christmas all to ourselves again this year! We had two VERY excited little boys who made the day so fun and special! It was a day full of opening toys, playing with them, watching new movies, snacking and playing some more! We really enjoy this special time we have to spend with our little family and focus on our children without hustle and bustle of running here and there. We did miss our families, but are excited to see them soon!

Here's the two little rascals ready to open presents...ha! They look so excited!

First we wanted to remind them of the Nativity and true meaning of Christmas so Ty was retelling the story and pointing it out to them(it was set up on our piano) but Braden obviously was more concerned about looking good for the picture:)

We went to open the curtains and both boys got excited to see a hot air balloon on Christmas morning!

Britain was pleased to see that Santa ate his cookies and the reindeer LOVED the lettuce instead of carrots this year!

Braden loves Twinkies and it happened to be the first present he opened (by accident) so for a while he just ate his Twinkie instead of focusing on presents! Oh well! It's Christmas, you can have a Twinkie at 8:00 in the morning:)

Brit got his Spiderman driving a car from Bredthauers! Thank goodness, he was asking for that for a LONG time!

More present opening...

Brit got a scooter! He was so excited, but so was Braden! Brit was nice to share, but Braden's face shows that he wanted it all to himself!

Brit posed with all the presents...sheesh...all those little things add up! Time to get rid of some old toys!

So Braden LOVES babies and is always hugging little babies and kids his size! He loves to hold baby dolls so I decided to buy him a BOY doll since that's a little more "manly." Ty still wasn't convinced, but since Braden will have a baby around the house soon, I think it's a good thing! Look how much he loved it...cute!

Playing with the farm!

Out came the Potato Head...

And Ty surprised us all with a Wii this year! We spent a lot of the day playing it and had a blast!

We are so grateful for a great day and season spent mostly thinking of others and especially our Savior, Jesus Christ. What a great time of year!

When I had Mason my mom bought Calvin a baby, so he had one to take care of while I took care of my baby. Also, my mom pointed out that one day, these boys will be daddys so it is good for them to get practice now.
Looks like quite the Merry Christmas!!
